A DIALOGUE BETWEEN COMPANIES AND SCHOOLS
Assologistica Cultura e Formazione (the training branch of Assologistica, the national association of third-party logistics operators) together with Adecco have promoted a pilot project that aims to bring together companies and schools, giving students the opportunity to start measuring themselves against their professional future.
The initiative, entitled The Logistic Challenge, will involve two leading companies in the logistics sector, XPO Logistics and Logistica Uno (both members of Assologistica), together with three schools, the Istituto Feltrinelli in Milan, the Istituto Majorana in Seriate (Bg) and the ITS Mobilità e Logistica Fondazione Aslam in Somma Lombardo (Va), which already include logistics and transport courses in their training programmes.
The students will be asked to develop a logistics project with the support of the two above-mentioned providers, which will then be assessed by a jury of industry representatives (companies and experts).
A real logistics “challenge”, which will award the prize to the group/school that is best able to identify itself as a real Supply Chain Project Manager team.
