The fifth edition of The Logistic Challenge, an initiative of Adecco and Assologistica Cultura e Formazione that this year involved the students of the ITS of Piacenza, Bologna, Malpensa and ITIS of Caserta, ended on 27 May. The challenge

The Logistic Challenge was created in 2018 with the aim of creating a bridge between schools and the world of work to guide and accompany students towards their professional future. In the latest edition of the event, students challenged each other to create a special project dedicated to e-commerce logistics for a hypothetical company selling fresh centrifuges.

Mentoring

After an intense percorso di lavoro iniziato a gennaio with the presentation of the new project, on the morning of Friday 27 May, the young people presented their work at the Arena Phyd – the Milan headquarters of The Adecco Group’s Digital Venture – to the jury, composed of Assologistica Cultura e Formazione and the tutor companies mentioned above.

The young people preparing to enter the world of work were guided and supported with technical tutoring for four months, resulting in structured solutions with real added value for companies.

The role of logistics

“With the acute phase of the health emergency that has affected the whole world, the ruolo strategico of attività logistiche has emerged. We are really happy to see curious and knowledgeable young people approaching this sector and our company,’ commented Gianluca Cornelli, Supply Chain Manager of Logistica Uno.

“We are really pleased with the results and success of this fifth edition of the Logistic Challenge,” concluded Michela Santonastaso Onsite Education&Academy Manager Adecco Italy.
