Protecting Italy’s heritage through FAI

This year Logistica Uno has decided to support the FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano (Italian Environmental Fund) by joining the Corporate Golden Donor membership programme.

Sustainability as a mission

Next to FAI Logistica Uno wants to realise a great protection project that is also an ambitious cultural challenge: to make Italy a better place to live, work and raise our children.

“For us, sustainability represents not only a corporate mission, but also a lifestyle that involves our company and our employees in 360°. For this reason, within the broader Green Team project, this year we have decided to start supporting the FAI, thus protecting the immense historical, artistic and landscape heritage that Italy offers us,’ commented Gabriele Cornelli – our Chairman.

Enhancing the territory

Indeed, this heritage represents a unique capital in the world and the fundamental resource in which to invest in order to revive, develop and enhance our wonderful country. Thanks to the support of its many members, both private citizens and companies, the FAI has been protecting and managing 68 properties throughout Italy for almost 50 years. Important historical, artistic and landscape sites have been saved from neglect, restored, protected and opened to the public.

The FAI

Every day, FAI is committed to protecting and making accessible to all, splendid jewels of art, nature and culture scattered throughout the countryside, cities and coastlines of our country; to educating and raising the awareness of the community in the knowledge, respect and care of nature and art; and to acting as spokesperson for the demands of civil society by monitoring and actively intervening in the territory.

With the FAI, we want a more protected and more beautiful Italy.
