Our Green Team project has been declared the winner in the field of environmental sustainability
On Wednesday 16th December 2020, the sixteenth edition of the event Il Logistico dell’Anno (The Logistician of the Year) took place, organised by Assologistica, Assologistica Cultura e Formazione and the magazine Euromerci. During the event were awarded managers and companies in the logistics and transport sector that have particularly distinguished themselves for the creation of innovative projects.
The event, broadcasted entirely live in streaming due to the health emergency, alternated institutional moments of awards presentation with a round table moderated by Michele Latorre, director of Trasporto Europa. The common thread running through the various speeches was the ability of logistics to respond promptly to the new challenges, the result of the disruption caused by the pandemic, and the related structural changes to which the sector will be subject in the coming years.
Our Green Team project was awarded for its innovative character in the field of environmental sustainability. For Logistica Uno, sustainability is not only a company mission but also a lifestyle that we transmit and share with our team.
The green path, started in 2012 with the construction of a logistic pole of more than 50.000 sqm of connected warehouses, located in Maddaloni (CE), is based on 3 pillars: Green Office, Green Energy and Green People. The Green Team project therefore focuses on environmental ethics in order to guarantee a future on a human scale.
Among the virtuous behaviours are raising employee awareness of environmental saving issues through a series of ad hoc communications, as well as the creation of corporate tools with eco-friendly materials. There are also initiatives dedicated to team working and team building to enhance and involve each individual team member. “The well-being and active participation of our human capital is in fact fundamental to carrying out the project undertaken with dedication,” says Gianluca Godi, our Marketing Manager.
