Our company has joined the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (SEDEX) and uses that platform to improve transparency and awareness on issues related to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Supply Chain.
SEDEX is an exchange of information on-line for businesses committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of their supply chains. It focuses on four areas: labor standards, health and safety, the environment and integrity.
SEDEX enables member companies to manage more efficiently the practical and ethical leaders in their Global Supply Chain through a software platform and a self-assessment standard that unifies the review process. The system provides risk assessments of suppliers on the basis of self-assessment questionnaire that all suppliers must fill out when joining the system. This generates greater transparency through the provision of a secure, robust and user-friendly information and data exchange.
In the event that our customer requires independently control their own supplier LogisticaUno by an approved auditor, the Sedex database can also be used to store and share your information for such examination. The security controls built into the system allow our company to keep the information confidential and share it only with specific customers to which it intends to give access.
The adherence to the Sedex system allows our customers many advantages such as: reduction of cost and time, reducing the workload for its auditors, it facilitates the collection of data CSR, reducing the cost of auditing through collaborative approaches by allowing the system the sharing of audit reports with other companies on the portal Sedex, better access to information and data management.
